What are your office hours?
Our office is open 10am to 4pm Monday to Friday and we are available by appointment only, please email us at info@wfchub.org
When is your venue available to hire?
Monday to day to Friday 10am to 5pm for community activities. Saturday and Sunday is available for one-off bookings, We are also an approved venue for weddings and other ceremonies. .
I am I allowed any set up/clear time?
We do not allow setup/tidying time, please ensure you factor this into the booking time.
Who sets up the tables and chairs?
It is the hirer's responsibility to set up and clear up the tables and chairs.
Do you provide catering?
We are unable to provide event catering.
Do you provide discounts to local residents?
Unfortunately we are not able to offer discounts to local residents.
We do offer a 20% discount off the hall hire charge to registered charities and voluntary organisations/community groups.
What is the parking like?
There is no parking available on site. If you hire the venue for a one-off booking and no-one else is using the building, the forecourt at the front of the building may be used for parking up to 6 cars. There is on street parking around the building but please check restrictions in advance. There is a car park at Walthamstow Central station, 10 mins walk away.
What is the capacity of the hall?
The hall has a maximum capacity of 140 people.
What is the size of the hall?
The size of the hall is 20 metres in length and 10 metres in width.
What kind of tables/chairs do you provide?

Rectangular tables – Size: 6ft x 2ft

Round wooden banqueting tables – Size: 5ft in diameter.

Folding chairs (very comfortable!)
Are fireworks permitted?
No - Fireworks of any kind, inc sparklers are strictly prohibited in or around the venue.
Are candles allowed?
No - we do not allow naked flames of any sort in our building.
Do you have a music cut off time?
Yes, as we are in a residential area, we ask you to turn down music at 10pm and off by 10.30pm on Saturday and music down at 9pm and off by 9.30pm on Sunday.
Can I decorate the hall?
We are happy for you to decorate the hall but must ask you to ensure walls/paintwork are not damaged. Please do not use pins or sellotape. Use of blutak is acceptable.
Please note that we DO NOT allow use of helium balloons.
Can I throw confetti?
Sorry but confetti is NOT allowed anywhere inside the building; carpark or the back court yard.
Who cleans the hall after my event?
The hirer is responsible for tidying the hall after an event, please leave it as you find it. You will need to bring bin bags and cleaning spray; cloths etc please.
Who disposes of rubbish after my event?
We do not guarantee space in our bins for you rubbish, in which case you will be asked to take it with you. In any event, we do not take glass bottles, please take these with you to recycle yourself.
