Our wonderful charity, Waltham Forest Community Hub, loves volunteers and we would love to give you the opportunity to join our growing Volunteering Programme is accredited by 'Investing in Volunteers' (IiV) and is open to everyone, providing experience in a number of areas:

Youth Work – Assisting qualified Youth Workers within an established Youth Club.  More information HERE

Befriending - Every Thursday we welcome around 40 senior citizens and need help with serving lunch and activities, we also run a community coffee morning on a Wednesday morning.  More information HERE

Housing Advice Service - supporting our Housing Advice Service Manager with essential administration.  More information HERE

We will give you the training and support you need on the job or specifically designed training courses.  We will also arrange an observation so that you can decide if volunteering is right for you.

What will I gain?

You will get a chance to increase your knowledge and work skills, which will help you gain experience in the charity sector.  By giving us your time, you will also give something back to your community.
